One Shot Wednesday – Week 53

Recently, some colleagues and I were invited for a cool event with a HUGE buffet – and the moment we started to eat I looked around and found us all heading for the food we were already familiar with..Why? Because we knew how it would taste. But what a shame because on that buffet were the most amazing, unusual and exotic delicacies, things I never saw before in my life (and I had no idea how to eat them either..) So I grinned at my colleagues and said: Hey..let’s try ALL the food we never had before…and we did. Well in the end we felt a bit dizzy but we had lots of fun, dirty hands and our taste buds were exploding…

Now here’s the invitation for tonight…don’t go to the places you usually go to but try something different – click on all the unfamiliar names and see how their poetry tastes. Maybe it smells strange, maybe you feel a bit off-place and not sure what to do with it…eat it..drink it.. get your hands dirty..comment on it…and have fun – And if you feel a bit dizzy afterwards – well – that’s how it is with good parties, no..?

Claudia

…and here’s how it works:

  • Post a poem to your blog.
  • Then link your (ONE) poem to One Shot using Mr Linky. Enter your name and the URL (web address for your poem) for the poem you wish to share.
  • Visit as many other One Shot Poets as you like. Feel free to encourage and interact with them. It’s all about community.
  • Finally, please tell others about OSW. You may include a link to this page in your post.
  • Have fun!

However, after reading Claudia’s post I was forced off the “edge Of the pool” and into the “water” and the water seems fine….Thanks, for sharing, Claudia and Brian…
